Thanks

Hi!

I learned this technique from Dawn Olchefske.  She has a great video tutorial on her website here.  I love her work and get a lot of inspiration from her!

Who inspires you?

Thank You Card

Hello!

I know, I know.  Long time, no posts.  I've been crazy busy with my role on the PTA board, and then my muse just up and left me!  I just couldn't think of a card design for the life of me.  I finally sat down and just made myself make a card, any card.  This was the first card of 8!  I will be showing you those in the next few days.  I hope you enjoy!

Masculine Birthday Card

This is a card I made for my dad's birthday.  While it was a time consuming card to make, it turned out even better than I had planned.  The DSP is Well Worn from the current catalog.

Happy Birthday, Dad!

Oops!

I make mistakes.  We all do, right?  The first time I stamped the doily for the card I made yesterday, I didn't get it pressed down very well, especially in the center of the stamp.  When I do that, I usually just turn the cardstock over, and try again, but the Melon Mambo is too dark and you could see the goof on the back.  I've seen a few cards with the scallop punch in the center and so I decided to try that.  Perfection!  It covered up the goof, saved a perfectly good piece of cardstock, and I ended up with another pretty card.  Yea!

Girly Birthday Card

I love everything girly and of course pink is my favorite color.  This is another super simple card.  All you need is the Hello, Doily background stamp, a rhinestone, and a sentiment, then pick your colors, and your done!

Item #122845 Hello, Doily $17.95
